Lastly, it has features that keep you coming back every now and then-unlockable levels, customizable single-player games, and global leaderboards. To take it all out of the way, Sensible World of Soccer 95/96 tries to create a rather different feel for the game, with a bit more realistic touch to it. This approach works well since it suits the straightforward premise of making the goal kick, and the lack of detail lets you focus on finding the right angle. Instead, players are treated to flat-looking 2D graphics. It doesn’t go for realistic and 3D graphics. Even worse, some of the ads are entirely unskippable. Ads appear after every stage of the campaign mode, making it frustrating as time goes on. Unfortunately, ads also hinder the gameplay experience. Finish the set course in the fastest time possible and end up on its global leaderboard. While it doesn’t have a competitive or co-op mode, you can try your best in the Time Attack mode. Also, it has a Shoot the Target mode that lets you aim for different parts of the goal, pushing your skills to make precise goal kicks. It has a single-player campaign that puts you through increasingly difficult situations set in different football-playing countries. It has minimalist soccer experience, but the game still has a lot of features to keep you hooked for hours. You drag and tap the ball in the direction you want. With a simple premise like this, expect a similarly simple control. Its in-game display only shows the ball plus the goal in front of you. As such, don’t expect it to have the whole soccer experience of passing and going from one goal to the other. In Soccer, you are tasked with doing one thing: taking the goal kick.
